Frequently Asked Questions

Does your hospital see emergencies?

We provide emergency care for our established clients and patients on a walk-in basis or if they call ahead. We are not prepared for all emergency situations and may triage the patient and refer to an emergency hospital for additional care.

Are you taking new clients and patients?

Always—we are happy to take care of your new pets and are always available to take on new clients!

Do you offer payment plans?

Our hospital does not offer payment plans. However, we have partnered with CareCredit to offer 6 and 12 months payment plan options depending on the services received.

Do you offer grooming services?

We offer nail trims and sanitary shaves that are requested by the veterinarian—outside of that, we let the professional groomers do their job! We are happy to provide a list of local groomers that can assist you with your needs. Call us today to discuss your needs.

How long do I have to wait to get in for an appointment?

We try to have appointments available the same day up to three days out. We can schedule far ahead in advance as well. Depending the severity of the appointment, we may be able to offer a work-in appointment same day with doctor approval regardless of whether or not the schedule is booked.

Do you offer boarding for my pet while I'm away?

We do offer boarding for cats and dogs. It’s a quiet, routine environment for your pet where a doctor is always on call in case of an emergency. If you would like more information and pricing, click here.

Can I get my dog license at your hospital?

Yes! As of January 2024, we have partnered with the Ottawa County Treasurer’s Office to be able to license cats and dogs directly at the hospital as long as you live in Ottawa County. We offer 1 year licenses and 3 year licenses and the physical tag at the time of purchase. Pricing is the same whether you go through the county or our hospital.
