Overnight Boarding at Jenison Animal Hospital
Do you have plans for an extended vacation, or perhaps visiting loved ones with pet allergies? Maybe your pet is recovering from a medical procedure and needs a little extra help? Our Team can be that help. We welcome anyone to board with us, and not just those we’ve seen before. Let us meet your furry family!
What kind of a facility do we have?
We’re a quiet and calm facility with a focus on one-on-one time.
For dogs, our days are routine and structured, with a fenced-in area in the back to work off energy if they need, and with consistent food and med time. We don’t spend time socializing with other dogs. This is great for our older clientele! On the other hand, our techs love to spend play time with our pet clients.
For cats, we adhere to the same structure with consistent food delivery. Our techs offer time in their kennels to give them their scratches, if they are accepting of course! We know cat personalities don’t always need tech time.
This boarding style is also excellent for pets with medical boarding needs, as there is a veterinarian on-call for recovery questions, and they’re in good hands with a fully functioning hospital to back them up. This setup also allows us to board non-spayed or neutered guests.
We’ll also send home report cards to keep you in-the-know with their trip!

Medical Boarding
If our furry guest needs special assistance or has medical needs, please let us know before they board with us. If they are new guests, we will need to give them an exam to just make sure everything is on the up and up.
If you want to board your pet with us, we’d love to see them! Our boarding drop-off and pick-up times are Monday through Friday during open hours.
If you’re planning a trip and want expert hands, give us a call at (616) 457-9200 or schedule an appointment on our online form.
